After months of speculation, the Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup is reportedly set to be postponed this week. Australian media reports say an official announcement will be made on Friday. Last month, Cricket Australia chairman Earl Eddings admitted, “It’s unrealistic, or it’s going to be very, very difficult,” for the T20 World Cup to proceed this year with 16 international squads – News.com.au

Japan’s professional baseball and football leagues will begin allowing fans back into stadiums this week. Football and baseball officials said the first day with fans will be July 10. The maximum number will be 5,000 or 50 per cent of the stadium capacity, whichever is smaller – Asahi Shimbun
