Italian footwear manufacturer Pantofola d’Oro has struck a partnership deal with the Superbike World Championship.
The agreement was brokered by Dorna Sports on behalf of the FIM, motorcycle racing’s global governing body.
Pantofola d’Oro is primarily associated with football, but also has a presence in rugby and cycling, and its deal with the Superbike World Championship ties in with a recent brand re-launch.
Kim Williams, chief executive of Pantofola d’Oro, said: “We started from football with the goal of expanding our range to everyday shoes, trying to adapt our unique style to today’s requirements. This is the reason behind our partnership with the Superbike World Championship; we want to obtain great visibility through the series.”
Pantofola d’Ora is the latest Italian company to join the series’ sponsorship roster in recent months following partnerships with lifting equipment manufacturer Fassi Gru and wine brand Prosecco DOC.
