Italian crane and industrial-lifting products manufacturer Fassi Group has opted to extend its main event sponsorship of the French round of the Superbike World Championship motorcycling series.
This year’s edition of the race, which takes place this weekend at the Circuit De Nevers Magny-Cours, will be known as the ‘Fassi French Round’.
Fassi began its support of the race in the 2015 season, but has been an official sponsor of the WSBK series for the past four seasons.
Giovanni Fassi, chief executive of Fassi, said: “Fassi has an impressive presence in Europe and especially in France – one of our biggest markets. Being the Event Main Sponsor this year in France at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours makes our image and reputation in the market of this area, even bigger.”
