Pizza Hut renews NCAA partnership

Restaurant chain Pizza Hut has extended its partnership with the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the US.

Pizza Hut will retain its position as the official pizza of the NCAA until the end of the 2020-21 academic year.

Pizza Hut, which has been a partner of the NCAA since 2016, holds activation rights at all 90 championships each year. It will continue to support intercollegiate athletics and student-athlete achievements through marketing programs and initiatives at championships, while it will also hold the right to use official NCAA marks and media.

The new partnership was facilitated through CBS Sports and Turner, which manage and collaborate on the NCAA’s Corporate Champion and Partner program.

Earlier this year, Pizza Hut replaced Papa John’s as the official pizza sponsor of the NFL American football league. The multi-year deal grants Pizza Hut an array of exclusive marketing rights, benefits and designations. Pizza Hut is the only brand to hold national partnerships with the NFL and NCAA.
