New York-based cheese producer Yancey’s Fancy has secured a partnership with NFL American football team Buffalo Bills and NHL ice hockey franchise Buffalo Sabres.
The deal also includes the Sabres affiliated AHL team Rochester Americans, hockey themed mixed-use development Harborcenter and box lacrosse outfit Buffalo Bandits – all properties under the ownership of the Pegula Sports and Entertainment company.
As the official cheese of the Bills and the Sabres, Yancey’s Fancy will stage the “Say Cheese” Smile Cam promotion at both team’s home games, while enjoying signage at all match venues and the Harborcenter.
Bruce Popko, executive vice-president of business development at Pegula Sports and Entertainment, said: “Buffalo sports fans will be excited that Yancey’s Fancy is the first to simultaneously partner with every Pegula-owned sports team property. Yancey’s is a Buffalo-based hometown brand that is now fittingly aligned with each of our hometown teams.”
