The promoter of the Singapore Formula One Grand Prix has said it would be "unfeasible" for it to stage a race with no fans. The race is scheduled for September 20. Speaking to UK newspaper The Sunday Times, a spokesperson for the promoter said: "The calendar for the 2020 season is currently being finalised and Singapore GP has been maintaining an open dialogue with F1, the Singapore Government and our stakeholders during this time, to assess different possibilities." The spokesperson said infrastructure preparations for the race take three months to prepare. The Singapore government said on Friday that construction work on critical projects only, such as on sewers and residential buildings, would resume from June 2 - Straits Times
