Automobile Club de l’Ouest, creator and organiser of the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance motor racing event, has agreed a multi-year extension to its partnership with luxury watch brand Rolex.
The official watch of the prestigious race since 2001, Rolex has now been named an official partner of the event from 2016.
The Swiss company will also become an official partner of the World Endurance Championship motor racing series, of which ACO is the promoter.
Pierre Fillon, president of ACO, said the partnership “reinforces our excellent relationship with Rolex, this prestigious watchmaker which shares many core values with us.”
He added: “In addition to an association with a watch brand of the highest level, we also see here loyalty and mutual respect.”
