Champagne Carbon keeps pouring at Formula One

Formula One has extended its podium sponsorship with Champagne Carbon, one of the world’s most expensive champagnes.

The new deal will start next season and will see Carbon continue as Formula One’s Official Champagne Supplier for another three years.

Champagne Carbon first signed with Formula One in 2017, and has spent two seasons as the tournament’s Official Champagne Supplier.

Formula One said the brand’s high-tech, carbon fibre packaging was a factor in its decision to extend the contract.

A 1.5 litre magnum of Champagne Carbon retails at around $3,000, largely due to its labour-intensive, carbon-casing process, which takes over one week per bottle to complete.
