Formula E sponsor Hugo Boss calls for discount as Covid-19 hits hospitality asset

Fashion brand Hugo Boss has held talks to reduce its Formula E rights fee by 50 per cent this season, primarily because of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on its key corporate hospitality inventory, SportBusiness understands.

Sources say the fashion brand has been particularly impacted by Formula E’s rescheduled season, which comprises six ePrix behind closed doors, all in Berlin, from August 5 to August 13.
