Team LottoNL-Jumbo extends with bike partner

International Cycling Union (UCI) WorldTour cycling outfit Team LottoNL-Jumbo has signed a multi-year extension to its sponsorship deal with racing bikes manufacturer Bianchi.

Team LottoNL-Jumbo first partnered with Bianchi in 2014. Bianchi provides the Netherlands-registered team with racing bikes and other products as part of the agreement.

The two parties have collected almost 100 victories since collaborating, among them Enrico Battaglin’s stage win in the 2018 Giro d’Italia.

Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s manager, Richard Plugge, said: “In the five years that we cooperate now, we have managed to develop further and further. We have grown together. Both as a team, with great results and rising youngsters, and with Bianchi, with the bikes we use.

“We provide the essential inputs to improve them. The base for both of us is innovation. Team LottoNL-Jumbo wants to do better every day and at Bianchi rules the same mentality. So far it has been a great partnership and it’s looking bright for the future as well.”

Bianchi provides the team with four models of bike: Oltre XR4, Specialissima, Aquila CV and Infinito CV.
