Cleveland-based paint manufacturing company Sherwin-Williams has expanded its deal with Nascar to become the official automotive paint of the North American stock-car racing series.
The announcement follows a multi-year agreement confirmed in May this year that established Sherwin-Williams as the official paint of Nascar.
As it has with the designation for architectural paint, Sherwin-Williams will leverage Nascar’s intellectual property in activations across its 3,500 stores across the US.
Sherwin-Williams already supplies products for a host of Nascar teams, including Roush/Fenway Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, Richard Childress Racing, Earnhardt Ganassi Racing, Richard Petty Motorsports, Michael Waltrip Racing, Furniture Row Racing, Wood Brothers Racing, Germain Racing, Tommy Baldwin Racing and JTG Motorsports.
