Automotive giant Fiat has agreed a deal to become the title sponsor of Italian Lega Basket Serie A basketball team Torino.
The deal, the length of which was not disclosed, officially renames the club as Fiat Torino. Fiat will also serve as the team’s official car sponsor.
Under the agreement, Fiat’s logo will appear on Torino’s playing jerseys and shorts, while fan initiatives will also be organised.
Torino will receive a fleet of Fiat cars as part of the deal, with vehicles to be displayed at the team’s PalaRuffini home arena on game days.
Fiat is also a partner of the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP).
