OXYwater targets Nascar for brand growth

THE FAS LANE RACING Nascar team has agreed a three-year sponsorship agreement with American drinks brand OXYwater.

The Ohio-based brand, owned by Imperial Integrative Health, will be the Primary Sponsor of the No. 32 FAS Lane Racing Ford for 24 Nascar Sprint Cup Series races this season, and will continue for the full 2014 and 2015 seasons.

While financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, Primary sponsorships for Nascar Sprint Cup teams usually carry a value of between $10 million and $20 million per year.

“OXYwater is a mass-market product,” said Stacey Kuzda, OXYwater vice president of marketing. “Since Nascar is a spectator sport with such large numbers of viewers, we felt it was a good fit for us.

“Our partnership with FAS Lane Racing is the cornerstone to our marketing programme designed to promote OXYwater as the ultimate healthy hydration beverage.”

The No. 32 OXYwater Ford, driven by two-time Nascar Sprint Cup Series champion Terry Labonte, will debut this weekend in the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
