Nascar signs up Lixar to aid fan experience drive

Mobile transportation technology specialist Lixar has entered into a partnership with North American stock-car racing series Nascar.

Lixar has agreed a multi-year deal with Nascar and will serve as a preferred technology partner of the series.

The company will work with Nascar on enhancing the race day experience for fans at leading events. The partnership will tie in with Nascar’s Garage Access Program, a three-year initiative that aims to provide new experiences for guests visiting the teams' garages. Lixar’s technology will be implemented at Nascar’s recently formed Guest Fulfillment Center.

“Lixar technology will deliver a large-scale customer interaction solution that will reshape the guest experience when it comes to accessing the garage at Nascar events,” Steve O’Donnell, executive vice-president and chief racing development officer at Nascar, said.
