The German arm of printing products and software company Kyocera Document Solutions has consolidated its sporting presence in the country by renewing commercial ties with the German Hockey Association (DHB) and Bundesliga football team Borussia Monchengladbach.
Kyocera’s deal with the DHB runs until the end of this year, while it will partner Borussia Monchengladbach through until May 2016. Financial terms for both deals were not disclosed.
The DHB first partnered with Kyocera in 2010 and the brand will be present as shirt sponsor of Germany’s men’s and women’s national teams at next month’s Indoor World Cup in Leipzig as well as August’s EuroHockey Championships in London. Both German teams are defending European champions, while the men took the Olympic gold medal at London 2012.
Kyocera has sponsored Borussia Monchengladbach for the past 10 years and will continue to be present in various club communications and marketing drives as its exclusive printing and copying partner. Additionally, Kyocera will benefit from a branding presence and hospitality provision for home matches at Borussia Park.
