Communications company Reliance has reached an agreement for its instant messaging application Jio Chat to be the principal sponsor of Indian Pro Kabaddi League champion Jaipur Pink Panthers.
The deal covers the 2015 Pro Kabaddi League season, during which Jio Chat’s branding will feature on the front of Jaipur’s playing jerseys.
Reliance claims to have more than one million active users for Jio Chat ahead of the app’s first major marketing tie-up.
