The IMG College agency has signed a multi-year deal with Harvard University to boost the sponsorship programme of its athletics department.
IMG’s management of the sponsorship programme begins immediately, with the agency granted exclusive representation rights to develop in-depth corporate sponsorships appropriate to Harvard Athletics.
Ben Sutton Jr., president of IMG College, said: “Harvard’s students and 271,000 alumni living in the US are very active in school athletics and represent a veritable ‘who’s who’ of distinguished Americans. We will work closely with the Department of Athletics to attract a select group of premier sponsors in line with Harvard Athletics’ unique offering.”
Harvard fields the largest Division I intercollegiate program in the US with 42 teams and more than 1,000 student-athletes.
