Qatar Airways has agreed a deal to sponsor the Eden Park stadium in Auckland, New Zealand.
Qatar Airways will serve as the stadium’s official airline partner. The deal will encompass branding rights and member offers, as well as cultural, charitable and philanthropic initiatives.
Qatar Airways becomes an ‘icon partner’ of Eden Park alongside Samsung, AA Insurance, Kennards Hire, Kia Motors and Spark. The agreement will run for three years, during which time Eden Park plans on introducing tourism experiences such as ‘staydium glamping’, as well as a zipline and rooftop tours.
Eden Park chief executive Nick Sautner said: “Eden Park has a long association with high-quality brands who align with our values, behaviours and customer service standards. We look forward to working closely with Qatar Airways to find more opportunities for our teams to collaborate for the benefit of our community.”
Eden Park is the largest stadium in New Zealand and hosts major rugby and cricket matches, as well as other national events and functions.
