Heineken, Johnnie Walker, McDonald’s and Standard Life Investments are the shortlisted brands in the Multinational category for the 2014 ESA Excellence Awards to be decided this month.
The ESA Awards, organised by the European Sponsorship Association, recognise excellence within the sponsorship industry across Europe.
The Mulitnational Media nominees were entered for the following projects:
– Heineken’s ‘#Share The Sofa’ campaign based on its sponsorship of the Uefa Champions League (agency: Starcom, Sports at SMG, DDB Tribal Worldwide, Edelman).
– Johnnie Walker’s ‘Join The Pact’ campaign encouraging F1 fans not to drink and drive — activated in 40 countries (agency: JMI).
– The McDonald’s EURO Cup 2014 competition for employees in Europe with FIFA World Cup prizes to be won (agency: Arc Sponsorship).
– Standard Life Investments’ Ryder Cup sponsorship — the first Worldwide Partnership in Ryder Cup history (agency: not applicable).
The winners of the 2014 ESA Excellence Awards, of which Sports Sponsorship Insider is a partner, will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and Dinner to be held in London on January 29, 2015.
