Ten national sponsorship award-winners from across Europe have been nominated for the prestigious ESA Best of Europe 2014 prize at the 2014 ESA Excellence Awards to be decided this Thursday.
The ESA Awards, organised by the European Sponsorship Association, recognise excellence within the sponsorship industry across Europe. The top three campaigns will be awarded a bronze, silver and gold trophy.
The winners of the 2014 ESA Excellence Awards, of which Sports Sponsorship Insider is a partner, will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and Dinner to be held in London on January 29, 2015.
The ESA Best of Europe nominees are:
– Belgium: Belgian Sponsorship Awards (VAAV Communication) AB InBev’s beer brand Jupiler sponsored the Belgian national football team under the campaign slogan “We Are Ready” for the Brazil FIFA World Cup (agency: not applicable)

Allianz Zagreb's sponsorship of the Croatian Paralympic Committee through its "Wholehearted Coaches " campaign, which focused on the role of coaches in training the Paralympic athletes of the future.
