DLL, Halifax, McDonald’s and Standard Life are the shortlisted brands in the Business to Employee category for the 2014 ESA Excellence Awards to be decided this month.
The ESA Awards, organised by the European Sponsorship Association, recognise excellence within the sponsorship industry across Europe.
The Business to Employee nominees were entered for the following projects:
– DLL’s sponsorship of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, a global race for amateur sailors (agency: not applicable).
– Halifax’s sponsorship of ‘The Big Lunch’, part of the UK’s Eden Project, encouraging neighbours to sit down and have lunch together (agency: Four Communications Group).
– McDonald’s Europe’s biennial internal football tournament based on its sponsorship of Euro 2014 (agency: Arc Sponsorship).
– Standard Life Investment’s Ryder Cup sponsorship and employee programme (agency: not applicable).
The winners of the 2014 ESA Excellence Awards, of which Sports Sponsorship Insider is a partner, will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and Dinner to be held in London on January 29, 2015.
