Sportswear company Adidas has agreed a four-year extension to its main sponsorship deal with the German Ski Association (DSV) national governing body in an agreement that will run until 2018.
Under the deal, Adidas will retain its position as an official main sponsor of the German ski team.
Adidas will also continue to supply clothing and equipment to all athletes, coaches, trainers and officials under the DSV umbrella. The equipment package consists primarily of functional clothing from the sportswear company’s outdoor kit range.
The agreement will cover all DSV skiing disciplines including biathlon, Nordic combined, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, alpine skiing, ski cross, freestyle and backcountry skiing.
Adidas has been a partner of the DSV since 1978, with the new deal set to take the relationship past the 40-year mark.
