State-owned Dutch bank ABN Amro has reached a deal with the Ahoy Rotterdam venue to extend its title sponsorship of the ATP World Tour World Tennis Tournament.
The deal will run for three years, from 2015 to 2017.
This year’s tournament, which will run from February 10-16, marks the 41st year of sponsorship provided by Ahoy Rotterdam – the longest-running such deal on the ATP World Tour, the professional men’s tour.
The World Tennis Tournament has ATP 500 status, placing it in the third tier of men’s tennis competition behind the four annual grand slams and the ATP World Tour Masters 1000.
Meanwhile, the event’s tournament director and 1996 Wimbledon men’s singles champion Richard Krajicek has had his position extended until 2017, covering the term of the new ABN Amro agreement.
