Aegon UK has agreed a four-year extension to its deal with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to continue serving as the governing body’s lead partner of British tennis until 2017.
The life insurance and pensions firm will retain its role as title sponsor of three major British grass court events – the Aegon Championships at Queen’s Club, London; the Aegon International at Devonshire Park, Eastbourne; and the Aegon Classic at Edgbaston Priory Club, Birmingham.
Aegon UK will also support a number of professional and recreational competitions, including the GB Pro-Series events, British Tour, and Country and Club Team Tennis.
The company will also be the team sponsor of the Great Britain Davis and Fed Cup teams, as well as all national age group British teams. It will additionally continue its support of future British tennis talent through its Aegon FutureStars programme.
Aegon has supported the LTA for the past five years.
