English Super League and Challenge Cup rugby league champion Wigan Warriors has announced a shirt sponsorship agreement with locally based lighting products specialists Light Distribution Limited.
The company’s branding will be displayed across the shoulders of Wigan’s new home and away shirts next season.
The financial terms of the deal were undisclosed and it will run for the 2014 campaign, with an option to extend for 2015.
Wigan plans to make further sponsorship announcements over the coming weeks as it prepares to launch its new kits, manufactured by sportswear company ISC, which are expected to be on sale in early December.
