Australian Super Rugby franchise Western Force has sealed a sponsorship deal with Perth-based watchmaker Haigh & Hastings.
Under the agreement, Haigh & Hastings becomes the naming sponsor of the man-of-the-match award at Western Force home matches, with the winner receiving one of the manufacturer’s watches.
The partnership is effective from this Saturday’s game against Brumbies, Western Force’s opening home match of the 2014 Super Rugby season. The length of the deal was not disclosed.
Haigh & Hastings becomes the latest Perth business to join Western Force’s roster under the team’s commitment to sourcing commercial partners locally.
Earlier in the month, engineering and project services contractor Clough secured a collar branding spot and, in a pioneering sponsorship move, front-of-shirt branding for each of the team’s starting XV jerseys will be sold separately for 2014.
