University of Pittsburgh Medical Center signs 10-year GAA stadium naming rights deal

US healthcare company University of Pittsburgh Medical Center has agreed a 10-year deal for naming rights to Nowlan Park, the principal Gaelic Athletic Association stadium in Kilkenny, Ireland.

Under the terms of the deal with Kilkenny GAA, the 27,800-capacity stadium will be renamed UPMC Nowlan Park keeping intact its reference to James Nowlan, the longest-serving president of the GAA, who served from 1901-1921.
