Wexford GAA secures stadium naming rights deal

Gaelic Athletics Association county board Wexford GAA has sealed a naming rights agreement for its home stadium with technology company Innovate Business Technology Limited.

The deal is for a minimum period of four years, running from 2015 through until 2018.

Innovate has also been appointed as the official IT partner of Wexford GAA.

Financial terms were not announced for the partnership, which makes Wexford the fourth GAA county, following Carlow, Mayo and Cavan, to sell its stadium naming rights.

Wexford County chairman, Diarmuid Devereux, said: “The Management Committee is confident that this partnership arrangement will result in significant further development of our use of all forms of information technology to promote Gaelic games within the county. This exciting development will also open up employment opportunities for our young players, especially those studying computer science and related business subjects, which are at the core of the company’s activities.”
