Boston College and Under Armour have signed a 10-year partnership extension that designates the US sportswear company as the official outfitter of its varsity intercollegiate athletic programmes.
Under Armour has been a partner of Boston since 2010 and will continue to design and supply the footwear, apparel, and equipment for training and game-day uniforms for Boston College's men's and women's varsity athletic teams.
In addition to outfitting the athletic department, the partnership also includes integration into Under Armour’s marketing, social media, in-store, and grassroots activations.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but director of athletics Brad Bates described it as an “unprecedented agreement” for Boston College Athletics.
The Boston College Eagles will remain a key partner to Under Armour’s growing roster of National Collegiate Athletic Association programmes, including the University of Notre Dame, Naval Academy Athletic Association, Auburn University, University of Maryland, Texas Tech University, Northwestern University and the University of South Carolina.
