US sportswear provider Under Armour has agreed a multi-year partnership with the athletics division of Howard University.
Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, it was confirmed that Under Armour will manufacture game-day uniforms and training apparel for Howard’s Bison varsity athletics teams.
The agreement will cover all 19 of the Bison men’s and women’s teams across a host of sports.
Under Armour has similar agreements in place with various other US colleges, including the University of California, Berkley, which last month entered into a 10-year deal, from 2017-18 to 2026-27, with the sportswear manufacturer.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
