Mobile phone manufacturer Alcatel OneTouch has agreed a one-year deal to sponsor the Super League, the top division of UK rugby league.
The company will serve as the official handset provider to the Super League during its 2014 season and will also sponsor the Challenge Cup knockout competition.
Alcatel OneTouch UK and Ireland country director William Paterson said: “We are working closely with the First Utility Super League to deliver the technology to engage fans throughout the season, bringing them closer to the games, players and live action.”
The 2014 Super League season kicks off on February 7 with a match between defending champions Wigan Warriors and 2013 league leaders Huddersfield Giants.
Alcatel OneTouch joins First Utility, Irn Bru, Tetley’s, Foxy Bingo and Brut as official partners of the Super League in 2014.
