Outdoor power tool company Stihl GB has extended its sponsorship agreement with the British Superbike Championship into a seventh year ahead of the motor cycling series’ 2014 season.
Under the deal, the financial terms of which were undisclosed, Stihl will continue to showcase its range of power tools at British Superbike events as it has since the partnership began in 2008.
A selection of Stihl products, from chainsaws to leaf blowers and hedge trimmers, will continue to feature as part of the trackside branding at the championship’s 12 rounds.
The British Superbike Championship features 26 races across those rounds between April and October. Races are broadcast by the British arm of pan-regional sports broadcaster Eurosport, which also carries highlights coverage alongside UK commercial broadcaster ITV.
