Austrian free-to-air TV channel ServusTV has struck a deal to return as a main sponsor of the second edition of the outdoor German Hockey League (DEL) Winter Game on January 10, 2015.
ServusTV is also the official and exclusive broadcast partner of the biennial fixture, which in 2015 will be between Dusseldorf EG and Cologne Sharks at the 54,000-seat ESPIRIT Arena, home of football club Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The network was also the main sponsor of the first staging of the Winter Game, which took place at Nuremburg's Frankenstadion in 2013.
The broadcast – described by ServusTV as “the largest hockey production in Europe” – will run from 14.30pm to 19.30pm, with the ice hockey game itself taking place at 16.30pm.
