German DEL clubs renew main partnerships

Kölner Haie and Schwenninger Wild Wings, which both compete in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, the top division of ice hockey in Germany, have unveiled extensions with long-term main partners.

The Wild Wings have renewed a deal with the Fürstenberg brewery for one year, covering the 2015-16 campaign.

The brewery has been a sponsor of the club since 1983 and a premium partner of the Wild Wings since 1986.

Kölner Haie (pictured) has renewed a deal with energy and water utilities company RheinEnergie AG, also for the 2015-16 season.

RheinEnergie has been the club’s main partner since 1999. RheinEnergie board member Norbert Graefrath said that the company had been convinced to renew the partnership due to the club’s commitment towards youth development.
