Financial services company Scotiabank has struck an official partnership with Concacaf, the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Football.
The deal, which was agreed with the Traffic Sports agency, will run for four years, from 2015 through to 2018. Financial details were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, Canada-based Scotiabank will become the title sponsor of the Concacaf Champions League club tournament and the official bank of the confederation.
Scotiabank will also become an official sponsor of the Concacaf Gold Cup national team event in 2015 and 2017 as well as qualifying matches for the 2016 summer Olympic Games, the Caribbean Cup, Central American Cup, men’s and women’s U-20 and U-17 tournaments plus Concacaf championships in beach soccer and futsal.
