Sports nutrition company MusclePharm has secured a multi-year partnership with the City Football Group.

The organisation operates English Premier League club Manchester City, Major League Soccer franchise New York City FC, Australian A-League side Melbourne City and Yokohama F. Marinos of Japan’s J-League.

Omar Berrada, commercial director of City Football Marketing, said: “This is another endorsement that City Football Group provides an ideal marketing platform for global brands seeking to engage with football fans all over the world.”

Brad Pyatt, founder and chief executive of MusclePharm, added: “This partnership is consistent with our larger business strategy to partner with the world’s largest and most popular sport and leverage this significant global brand exposure.”

MusclePharm has existing endorsement deals with the Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts series and golf star Tiger Woods.
