San Manuel Casino heads to Vegas in new Golden Knights deal

The Vegas Golden Knights NHL franchise has signed a new partnership with one of California’s largest casinos.

The San Manuel Casino, home to more slot machines than any other casino on the west coast, will partner with the Knights until the end of the 2018-19 season.

Located 60 miles east of Los Angeles, the San Manuel Casino is a three-hour drive from the Knights’ T-Mobile Arena in the neighbouring state of Nevada.

It is the casino’s first sports team deal outside of California, adding to San Manuel’s existing sponsorship presence across a range of South California sports properties, including NFL franchise the LA Chargers, MLB franchise the LA Dodgers, and MLS franchise LAFC.

The casino also sponsors some of the state’s most famous sports venues – including the LA Lakers’ Staples Center and LA Galaxy’s StubHub Center – and has existing partnerships with NHL franchises the Anaheim Ducks and LA Kings.

San Manuel’s sports partnerships allow the brand to offer exclusive benefits to sports fans and collaborate with major teams on philanthropy and community projects.
