Italian wine brand Prosecco DOC has signed a one-year extension to its partnership with the Superbike World Championship (WSBK) motorcycling series.
The company will continue to supply branded bottles for the prize-giving ceremonies after each race of every WSBK category. ‘Prosecco girls’ will hand bottles to each of the top three riders for their end-of-race podium celebrations.
In addition, Prosecco DOC will also be present in the ‘SBK Pit Lounge’ VIP hospitality area. Each guest and media person will receive a glass of Prosecco DOC as a welcome drink.
Stefano Zanette, president of Prosecco DOC, said: “We chose to renew this partnership because the Superbike World Championship is a series that ensures maximum visibility for our brand. Not only in Italy, where the television audience numbers from last April showed that WSBK was the most watched motorcycle racing series, but also globally.”
The next round of the 2014 Superbike World Championship will take place at Donington Park in the UK on May 25.
