The Premier League has signed up oil lubricant provider Castrol to fill its final central sponsorship position in a multi-year deal which will begin in January 2022.
SportBusiness understands from industry sources the agreement was approved at the top tier of English football’s annual general meeting at the close of the 2020-21 season and that it is worth in the region of £10m (€11.9m/$13.4m) to £12m per season, in accordance with the typical level of a global Premier League sponsor.
