Partners sign up to back Daytona Rising project

Daytona International Speedway has signed up technology solutions provider CDW as the presenting partner of its new Daytona Technology Platform initiative.

The Daytona Technology Platform is designed specifically for partners involved in the construction of the $400m (€357.5m) Daytona Rising project which aims to transform the iconic US facility into the world's first motorsports stadium.

Participation in the Platform will allow partners to showcase their involvement through an onsite marketing presence, once their role in the project begins. They will also receive corporate hospitality opportunities for entertaining guests during major events.

Along with CDW, five other companies have signed up for the initiative in the shape of Belden, CommScope, the Integration Factory, Peerless-AV and Schneider Electric.

Daytona International Speedway president Joie Chitwood III said: "Fans don't just go to sporting events anymore. They go to social events that involve sports, and technology plays a major role in enabling that ideal fan experience.

"We're pleased to announce the new Daytona Technology Platform Powered by CDW and we're confident that working with this combination of industry-leading companies will allow us to deliver the technology services and amenities that the racing fans of today and tomorrow can expect."
