US sportswear company Nike has renewed a partnership with the athletics division of the University of Memphis.
The deal will run for five years, from the 2018-19 academic year through to 2022-23.
The university said the agreement, approved by the Tennessee State Board of Regents in December 2017, is worth more than $2m (€1.7m) per year.
The Memphis Tigers athletics programme has had a partnership with Nike since 2008.
Tom Bowen, director of athletics at the University of Memphis, said: “Our decision to continue our agreement with Nike is first and foremost the fact that our student-athletes and our coaching staff want to be a Nike programme. Their innovations, designs and superior customer service have been truly incredible.”
