German sportswear company Adidas has entered into a partnership with George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Under the five-year agreement, Adidas will become the official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand of the college’s Colonials athletics teams until the 2024 season.
Adidas will provide clothing across the university’s 27 varsity men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports. The company will also work with George Washington University to develop gear for coaches, staff and fans.
Adidas will replace US sportswear manufacturer Nike as the Colonials’ kit supplier.
