Dairy products manufacturer Müller and convenience store chain Spar have signed on as national partners of the International Association of Athletics Federations’ (IAAF) World Indoor Championships, which get underway today (Thursday) in Birmingham, England.
Müller and Spar are existing sponsors of the British Athletics national governing body.
Müller is the official milk and yoghurt of the body, while Spar in January agreed a three-year deal to serve as the title partner of the British Athletics Indoor Championships.
As part of its sponsorship of the World Indoor Championships, Spar will provide the workforce and volunteers with packed meals. It will also supply its own label wine at associated hospitality events.
Spar and Müller join Toyo Tires and Birmingham Airport as national partners of the event.
The championships will take place at Arena Birmingham (pictured) until Sunday, with more than 600 athletes representing 150 countries set to compete.
