French motor oils and lubricants producer Motul, which title sponsors the Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK), has agreed a deal to become the main event sponsor of this weekend’s Italian leg of the motorcycling series.
The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit in Imola will host the three-day event from April 29 to May 1. The race weekend will officially be titled the Motul Italian Round.
Motul in July agreed a five-year deal to become the title sponsor of WorldSBK and the 2016 season marks the first year of an agreement that will run until the end of the 2020 campaign. As title sponsor, Motul offers fans a host of VIP experiences on race weekends.
The company also title sponsored last month’s Thai race at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram.
