Urban mobility data and analytics company Moovit has agreed a deal to support the upcoming Asian Games multi-sport event in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia.
Moovit will serve as the official mobility app for the Games, which runs from August 18 to September 2.
During the Games, Moovit will provide locals and tourists with transit updates and changes. The Moovit app is fully localised in 44 languages and provides real-time transit arrivals and directions, trip plans, service alerts and Get Off Alerts.
Moovit also served as the official transit app for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and worked with the Uefa Euro 2016 Fan Guide App to help supporters during the national team football tournament in France.
Forty-four nations are set to compete at this year’s edition of the Asian Games, which is the world’s second largest multi-sport event after the Olympics.
