Shipt signs on for 2021 World Games

The local organising committee for the 2021 World Games in the US city of Birmingham, Alabama, has signed its fourth foundation partner for the multi-sport event.

Shipt, a membership-based online grocery marketplace, has joined Alabama Power, Protective Life and Regions Bank as a foundation partner.

Highlighting the new partnership is ‘The World Games 2021 Experience delivered by Shipt’, an interactive mobile exhibit designed to spread awareness and generate excitement for events.

The custom-designed van and surrounding activation features a climbing wall, a sumo wrestling station, a powerlifting photo opportunity and an interactive trivia game with prizes.

The 11th edition of the World Games will be held in Birmingham from July 15-25, 2021. A total of 3,600 athletes from over 30 sports and 100 countries will take part in the Games.
