Mitsubishi Electric, the home electronics arm of Japan’s Mitsubishi Group, has become an official partner of the European Tour’s PGA Championship golf tournament at Wentworth.
The 60th edition of the Tour’s flagship event takes place at the course in the English county of Surrey on May 22-25, where Italy’s Matteo Manassero defends his title.
Mitsubishi Electric will be the official cooling and heating partner of the event and, as such, the company joins Rolex, Emirates, DP World and Hugo Boss as one of the championship’s marquee partners.
Mitsubishi will have branding on key holes around the course and a variety of hospitality opportunities, while its representatives will also participate in the pro-am, held on the eve of the tournament.
