Luxury car maker Genesis increases title rights fee of co-sanctioned Scottish Open

Korean luxury car brand Genesis will pay more than the previous incumbent, investment brand abrdn, as the new title sponsor of the Scottish Open in a deal announced last week.

According to industry experts, Genesis will pay about €7m ($8.2m) for the title rights to the tournament, which will be co-sanctioned next year by the PGA Tour and the European Tour.
