New Zealand wine brand Mud House Wines has entered into a partnership with the British and Irish Lions rugby union team.
Under the deal, Mud House will become an official partner of the Lions during the team’s 2017 tour of New Zealand.
As part of the deal, Mud House will make a commitment of NZ$2m (€1.2m/$1.3m) to the sport over the next 18 months, the company said.
Owned by UK wine supplier Accolade Wines, Mud House will join Rhino, Standard Life Investments and Canterbury as official partners of the Lions for the 2017 tour.
