The 2015 Southeast Asian Games multi-sport event has secured Singaporean information technology company JK Technology as its official IT equipment partner.
Singapore will host the 28th edition of the regional sporting showpiece for the first time in 22 years this June.
Under the terms of the sponsorship, JK Technology will provide 450 printers, 100 scanners and 1,450 laptops with accessories at the SEA Games, along with IT installation and configuration services across the 31 competition venues and support centres such as the main press centre.
Eugene Ang, executive director at JK Technology, said: “The sponsorship for the Games will be the largest one that we have ever committed. It is a dream come true and represents a major milestone for an SME (small and medium enterprise) like us.”
JK Technology also sponsors the Singapore Badminton Open Championships and other local badminton tournaments in the country.
